School time.
Yes indeed. I will be heading back to Plymouth this Sunday. I didn’t get to see all the people I wanted to during break, but I got to see a lot of them! This semester should be good. I’m taking classes I like, and while I’m not taking a full course load, it should be challenging enough. If I didn’t have to work, I would fill up on classes, but I tried that last semester. Went kinda nutty. My adviser told me that the school likes sanity and prefers their students keep it. If they like sanity, how was she in a position of leadership, I asked? She giggled at me. I love her.
Anyway, for those who are interested, here is what I’m taking:
Fundamentals of Latin 2 (Yes, I LIKE Latin =P), Introduction to Language and Linguistics; Currents in American Literature 2, and Topics in Literature and Film: Taboos.
All in all, a good class selection. I have a vague idea on what Intro to Lang and Ling is about, and while I’m not foaming at the mouth excited, I’m sure it will be interesting.Add that to the 10 hours a week I will be putting in at the library, and I should be moderately busy.
As of now, though, I’m more concerned with what I’m going to with my LJ and my website, as they are both blogs. I don’t intend on getting rid of LJ, as I like knowing what’s going on in my friends lives, and that’s one of the best ways. I would really like to make my website less of a blog and more of something else.
And as for more personal stuff, I am doing great! I’m excited for school and seeing all the people at Plymouth. I can’t wait for spring to get here!
That’s going to be all for now. I am feeling the call of Zelda, and must play some more Spirit Tracks. Lurve!
